Dermatologic Care ointment is proprietary products developed by CuraPhyte Technologies for the treatment of wounds.  The healing activity of the products is derived from two aspects of the formulation: the active ingredients that provide the main part of the healing and the physical properties that provide the environment necessary for healing (i.e., semi-occlusive or occlusive for wound healing). 

The Dermatologic Care product was evaluated in a 30-day randomized, blinded and controlled wound healing clinical trial.  This study demonstrated the statistically superior healing benefits of the Dermatologic Care product: superior epithelialization with lower erythema.  In addition, the product had lower scarring and post-inflammatory
hyperpigmentation on Day 30.  None of the human subjects developed an infection.

because of its healing properties.  It is used post-surgically because of its superior healing and pain relief properties. 

RECOMMENDED USE:

Dries the oozing and weeping and helps relieve minor skin irritation and itching due to poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac.
